…"The Skidimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Tyrol. This isn't the first time that I've been in this huge winter-sports region. But boredom doesn't exist here. I'm time and again surprised at how much there is to experience. Today, at nine o' clock, I'll immediately take the red cable car to get to the top of Schönjoch. Unbelievable how fast you get up the mountain. Now a nice ski run to the Schöngampbahn lies ahead of me, afterwards you can ride back up right away. There are even heated seats, what a comfort. But one of the many highlights of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis awaits me soon, when I'm back on the top of the mountain. It is half past ten now, and I'm one of the first to enjoy the ten kilometres long ski run Frommesabfahrt. I cannot wait to make my turns on the perfectly-prepared pistes."…
A lot has happened since the merging of the ski-areas Fiss-Ladis and Serfaus in 1999. Modern chairlifts and cable cars were built, the range of skiable slopes was expanded, snow cannons were built, fun parks were opened, restaurants and cosy alpine cabins were built, children's paradises and playgrounds were created, feel-good stops in the whole region were built. On the sun plateau Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis everyone — men and women — get their money's worth. Pleasure at 1,200 to 2,828 metres above sea level.
